Flushing something down the toilet might seem like a small thing, but do you have any idea how much money is spent on repairing toilets where the wrong item has been flushed down? There are many things that are labeled as “Flushable” that have not business going down a toilet drain. If you have any friends that are plumbers, they can probably tell you a few horror stories of what people thought they could flush down. Diapers might be one of the more absurd ones, possibly from people that thought that it made sense in some weird way, but a more common one is cat litter, which is really bad for your pipes. The litter will clump together as it was designed to do when it gets wet, and this will lead to cement-like clogs in your pipes.
In reality, only human waste and toilet paper should be going down the toilet, anything else runs the risk of causing expensive clogs in your plumbing.
